Our marketing management firm in Portland, Oregon is looking for a Marketing and Events Assistant to help elevate our promotional marketing efforts and provide exceptional support for various events and campaigns. As a Marketing and Events Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our team, assisting with planning, executing, and supporting local promotional events that showcase our clients' brands. You'll play a direct role in driving marketing and sales initiatives, fostering customer loyalty, and boosting brand recognition through interactive events. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate marketing campaigns by helping organize and execute local promotional events and brand activations.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and event promotions to effectively communicate benefits and features to customers.
  • Engage directly with customers to promote brand awareness and execute sales and marketing strategies at events.
  • Foster customer loyalty by delivering outstanding service and personalized experiences that enhance the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm, strategize, and implement new ways to drive brand visibility and increase promotional sales.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with industry trends, refine your skills, and support the overall growth of the business.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED required; a 2-4 year degree preferred, but not necessary—college students welcome to apply.
  • Must reside locally in Portland, OR or the surrounding Beaverton area and have reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills—comfortable interacting with customers and representing the brand in a positive, engaging manner.
  • Ideally, you have 1-2 years of leadership experience from work, school, or sports, though this is not required.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the field of event marketing, branding, and promotional sales.
